Successful Blood Donor Day in CIMAS

On August 09th 2016, many CIMAS employees actively joined the annual blood donation activity held by National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) in CIMAS office.
The event shows that CIMAS employees, who are not only dedicated with their work but also highly aware of their roles to contribute to social responsibility for the local communities. The blood donation is one of their yearly social voluntary programs.
“We are very happy that our blood is a reliable supply of safe blood for patients in hospital whose lives depend on us,” said Cao Van Truong- Civil engineer- who had 8 certificates of voluntary blood donation.
Also engaging in this activity for several times, Nguyen Trung Kien- Piping Deputy Manager shared: “I learnt that history of blood donation has been as far back as the 17th century and the donor blood helps save millions of lives every year. I hope that there will be more and more people volunteer into this meaningful activity in the future.”
CIMAS Blood Donor Day has significantly contributed to the World Health Organization (WHO)’s 2016 slogan “Share life, give blood” and the theme “Blood connects us all.”
